Oceania National Olympic Committee
Solidarity Administration Workshop
LeoPalace Resort Manenggon Hills - Hotel Belvedere

January 17 & 18, 2004

A two-day workshop on the role of ONOC Solidarity and development work in sports was held at the LeoPalace Resort Manenggon Hills for federation members of the Guam National Olympic Committee. Dr. Robin Mitchell was joined by ONOC's Regional Development Officer, Brian Minikin and SportingPulse senior consultant Craig Hood. Hood helped seminar attendants access a web based sports software called Sportzware, which allows them to create a WebSite for their individual sport. He also showed them how simply the software can generate and organize the submission of teams and schedule their ranking in competition and championship play. Minikin and Hood will continue their trip to Palau on Monday, Jan 19 where they are scheduled to conduct a similar seminar there. Mitchell returns to Fiji early Monday afternoon.
