Greeting the Guests
"At the drop of a dime."

Everyone has a story to tell about special moments in their relationship. The Packbiers are no different. Theirs tells of a time not so long ago when Paul knew Tara was the woman he would marry. It all began when Tara and Paul went south for a Halom Tano bike race and Jeff's Pirate Cove Craft Fair. Tara decided that she wanted to drive back into town but couldn't adjust the driver's seat in Paul's Nissan Pathfinder to the right distance.

Tara & Paul's favorite sweet.

Even Paul had a hard time adjusting it to his comfort distance since something had jammed the track and the seat would not budge. Paul had to drive back even though the seat was not adjusted properly for his length. While Paul was taking a nap, Tara gathered her tools: a pair of scissors, chopsticks and barbecue skewers in an attempt to dig out whatever it was that had jammed the track.

After prodding, poking and picking for sometime, Tara yanked out a dime that had fallen into the track. Paul came out just in time for her to hand him the mangled coin as evidence of their earlier frustration. It was then that Paul knew she was the woman he would marry. "Tara is a hands on person and a problem solver, just like me," he said of the woman he now calls, "My wife!"
